CREATION OF A PROFILE
You don’t need to set up a profile to search the site, but you will need to create a profile if you wish to take a look at full member profiles. You don’t need to pay anything to set up a profile, though you will need to subscribe if you want to send messages. To change your username, go the Account Details part of your profile and follow the instructions.
If at any point you wish to hide your profile from public view, this is perfectly possible, though you can only do this once you have been a member for more than 30 days and/or have an active subscription. You can change it to “hidden” from “visible” in your settings. This can be changed back at any time. Your profile may be seen by members of other sites, which Love Arts say have been carefully selected. The aim of this is to increase your chances of finding love. Other people will normally only see your profile if you are deemed to be a suitable match for them.
If you do find yourself stuck for ideas when creating your dating profile, there are many guides with generic profile questions that should inspire you. Remember to give details about who you are, what your interests are and what you’re looking for when completing your profile, and don’t forget to add a few recent photos of yourself so members can see who they are talking to.
