RateMyBody is one of those dating sites that started off with humble beginnings. What once started as a site where members would simply rate other’s photos back in 2001, it has now evolved into something much more interesting. The site claims to be 100% free, which seems pretty common these days.
If you’d like to join the site, the registration process is fairly simple. You can join the site by clicking on the “Join Now” link on the top right hand corner of the screen. In doing so, you’ll be redirected to a page where you’ll be asked to choose a username, password, email address and your gender.
With these filled in, all you have to do is press the “Submit Application” button.
To create a profile on the site, simply go to “MyProfile” on the upper part of the screen. From there you’ll be able complete your profile in as much detail as possible because that’ll help people decide if they’d like to get to know you better or not.
If you want to change the answers to the questions asked on the profile page, you can do so by clicking on the desired textbox, editing your response and click “Update Questions.”
Also, since this is a rating dating site, you’ll want to make sure you add at least one photo, which needs to be under 100 kilobytes and it has to be either a JPG or BMP format.
One of the ways the site safe guards members from spam bots or catfishers, you can upload something called a “Salute Photo.” A salute photo is where you take a photo of yourself with your username and RMB or RateMyBody.com clearly visible and written on the body, paper, or whatever else. The only stipulation is that it cannot be text written on the photo a la Instagram or Facebook.
In our opinion, more dating sites should implement something like this for their members peace of mind.
Pricing plans? What’s that? RateMyBody really is free.
Looking through profiles can be a lot of fun or it could feel tedious and boring. It all depends on what sort of search features are available to you. RateMyBody features several different ways to search for singles.
Of course, like all dating sites, you have the standard search feature via the link found at the top of the page. The options for your search criteria is a lot more in depth than other sites you’ve viewed. For example, there are three different “criterias” you can search:
Personal Criteria - Your standard search where you look for singles based upon personal information such as: Gender, Sexuality, Age, Eye and Hair Color, Education etc.
Geographic Criteria - You can search for singles based upon their geographic location.
RMB Criteria - The RMB (RateMyBody) search feature allows you to search for members based on RMB specific things such as: Member name, Member rating, How long they’ve been a member, Photo verified profile etc.
If you want to skip the regular search, you can find people who have similar interests via the “Interests” link at the top of the page. When you click on it, you’ll find a list of 150 interest-related keywords that members use on their profiles. The #1 interest on the site is music, with 43,959 people interested in the topic.
Other interests include (with total interested singles): Sex - 29,023 people interested, Reading - 7,068 people interested, Family - 2171 people interested, Martial arts - 1,258 people interested.
Suppose you just want to get right to rating people. You can do this by going to the “Who’s Online” link (again, located at the top of the page) or the “Newest Bodies” link right under the site’s banner and you’ll be presented with a list of people who are currently online and some of their stats such as: Username, Rating, Age, Relationship status, Number of photos.
Members also have the ability to instant message people that you’re interested in, either by finding them through one of the search options or by visiting the forums. Every instant message you send and receive is saved, which can be useful if you need to recall details from your communication exchanges.
Cancelling your RateMyBody account is fairly simple - a lot easier than some other sites, that’s for sure. All you have to do is enter your password and clicking on the “Delete Account” button.

Like most people, we were a little skeptical about RateMyBody.com and whether or not it was actually a good site. After reviewing the site and using it’s features, we have to say that, yes, it is a good site.
You have numerous options for meeting people, the forums are a great way to entertain yourself, and the lengthy list of “Interests” are a great way to find people who have similar interests and hobbies.
The only concern we have is that the site doesn’t have a secure connection, as there isn’t a https:// at the beginning of the address in the url box. However, since you’re not inputting any credit card information, we recommend proceeding with caution.
With all of this said, we like RateMyBody.com. Does it have a dated design? Yes, but it’s not unpleasant to use nor is it difficult to find any links to the various features. Is finding love easy on the site? That really depends on how much effort you’re willing to put into making the site work for you. Otherwise, at least it’s a site for flirting and hooking up with like-minded singles!
